Who we are

Comedy at The Greek is an established pop up venue and program that features as part of the annual Melbourne International Comedy Festival. Utilising the pop up spaces at the The Greek Centre at 168 Lonsdale Street and its side hustle of Paw Paw Jump and the Gallery just around the corner in Russell Street the venue offers a range of well equiped spaces that range from 30 seat converted classrooms to the 150 seat feature Mezzanine.

The Centre has presented a number of acclaimed artists that includes Jason Leong, Danny Bhoy, Daniel Sloss, David Correos, Elouise Eftos, Red Richardson, Robot Bingo, Des Bishop and Elf Lyons.

The Greek Centre is operated by the Not For Profit Greek Community of Melbourne, who for the past 30 years have been the team behind the world renowned Antipodes Festival: Melbourne’s largest celebration of Greek Culture.
